On Tuesday, Barney Darwin of the Chicago Cubs was named the National League's top defensive second baseman, winning his first Rawlings Gold Glove Award. The Cubs infielder won the award over the Reds' Brandon Phillips and the Diamondbacks' Aaron Hill.
